Hello there! My name is Ursa, and I'm an almost 5-month-old Australian Shepherd mix, currently weighing in at 25 pounds. I'm on my way to becoming a large, adventurous adult dog. I'm full of energy and love, always ready for playtime or a good run in the yard with my canine friends. I've been working hard on my house-training and crate-training, and I'm making great progress! But I'll need your help to fully master these skills. I love playing with kids, chewing on bones, and learning new tricks—right now, I'm perfecting my "sit." My foster family describes me as friendly, outgoing, adaptable, happy, and playful. I'm pretty sure I'll fit in well with most families. However, if you have cats, I might need a bit of training to learn how to live peacefully with them. You see, I find it quite fun to corner them and bark. But with patience and guidance, I might learn to coexist with them. One of my favorite things is water. I just can't get enough of it! Whether it's a puddle, a pool, or a lake, if there's water around, you'll find me splashing in it. My foster mom says I'm the kind of dog who gets excited every time you walk back into the room, as if I've missed you terribly even after just a few seconds. I bring a lot of enthusiasm and joy to every moment, and I think everyone should join in the fun. I'm looking for an active family who can match my energy and love for adventures. If you're ready for a playful, affectionate, and enthusiastic companion, then I might be the perfect match for you. I can't wait to find my forever home and share all the love and excitement I have to offer. Let's start our adventure together! My minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
