Yuki is a 6-month-old Akita with a gentle, affectionate spirit and a love for the outdoors. At 38 pounds, she’s a little bigger than her sister, but just as playful and sweet. Yuki is incredibly smart and food-motivated, always ready to learn and eager to please. She listens well and enjoys the challenge of training, making her a great fit for someone who wants an attentive and well-mannered pup. Yuki keeps a clean kennel and is quiet at the shelter, showing just how polite she is even at a young age. She loves playing with toys and spending time outside, whether it’s exploring the yard or simply enjoying the fresh air. She’s also dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other pups. Most of all, Yuki adores affection and will happily soak up all the love she can get. She’s ready to find a forever family who will appreciate her intelligence, sweetness, and playful energy. Her minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
