This handsome fella is Benson, he's a 9-month old Aussie/Border Collie mix and weighs about 35 pounds. He likely won't have much growing left to do and would be considered a medium-sized dog full grown. Benson is a typical young dog with lots of energy! He does well with his canine foster sister, but cats are unknown. He is crate-trained and even entertains himself while in his crate. Benson is making great progress with potty-training and will go outside when given the opportunity - he's still learning to communicate with his foster parents to let them know when he needs to go outside. We believe Benson will do very well with humans of any age. He's a well mannered, gentle, happy guy and passed the nippy puppy stage. Benson will be happiest in a home with plenty of activity to exercise his body and mind. A fenced yard would be a dream come true for him! If you'd like to adopt Benson, apply today! His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
