Benji is a 2-year-old Terrier mix weighing 22.5 pounds, and he’s as sweet as they come. Though he may be a little shy at first, he warms up quickly and becomes an affectionate, devoted companion. Once he trusts you, he’ll stick by your side like a true velcro dog, always eager to be close and soak up attention. His favorite place to be is in a lap, making him the perfect snuggle buddy for anyone looking for a loyal companion. Benji keeps a clean kennel and has been well-mannered in our care. So far, he hasn’t shown much interest in toys, but as he settles into a loving home, his playful side may start to shine. We were told that he does well with dogs and kids, though he hasn’t been around them in our care. With proper introductions, he may do well in a home with other pets and respectful children. Benji would thrive in a home where someone is around often to give him the love and companionship he craves. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate pup who will be your constant shadow, Benji may be the perfect match. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $12 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
