Meet Chunk - pending

Introducing.... CHUNK!  And his name suits him perfectly!  He is the lone pup from our Mom, Luisy, who arrived into our care pregnant and had an emergency C-section on November 3rd (and who is also available)!   Chunk will be 8 weeks old on Dec 29th and tips the scale at10lbs (thus his name) He has a gorgeous coat like him Mom and definitely has "personality plus"!! He is learning to alert his foster family when he needs to go out, so watching for those signs will be helpful to continue with his house training!  Chunk is in his "put everything in his mouth and 'chomp' phase" - including toys, food, toes, fingers, etc.. so kids in the home will need to be 8+ years old and pup/dog savvy. He does take correction well but is still working on his 'short term' memory.  He gets along with the resident dogs in the home and 'mirrors' them which is assisting with his house and crate training. Chunk’s adoption donation is $500 and he does not qualify for out of state adoption.  Our Board is also requiring Chunk's adopter to take him to professional obedience training with a certified trainer.  This will be a requirement of his adoption so please be prepared to discuss where/who you intended to take him to training with.  Photo of Mom included for reference (she is about 70lbs currently) **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance.
