Meet Everest

EVEREST Available for Adoption Hi there! I'm Everest, your potential new best friend and adventure buddy. I'm basically a walking (well, bouncing) ball of joy who's ready to become your ultimate companion! I absolutely love people - kids, adults, you name it. I've got this special magic where I can be super playful one moment and incredibly gentle the next. My foster mom says I'm amazing with children, and I take that as a major compliment. I'm the kind of dog who'll be right in the middle of family game night, ready for cuddles or a rousing game of chase the ball outside. When it comes to other dogs, I'm totally that friendly social butterfly. I'm all about making new friends and exploring the world through some good old-fashioned sniffing. I'm calm, cool, and collected - no drama here! I might get a tiny bit shy around really big dogs at first, but who isn't? I've got energy for days, but I'm not one of those wild, uncontrollable pups. I love my daily walks, running around in the yard, and playing with my favorite squeaky toys. My foster family says I'm a master ball chaser and absolutely live for playtime. But I'm also perfectly happy lounging nearby, just enjoying being close to my humans. One of my coolest traits? I'm pretty quiet. I don't bark unless I really need something, which means I'm more of a "silent guardian" type of dog. I love watching the world go by from the living room window, keeping an eye on things with my pointer-like curiosity. My foster mom describes me as good-natured and fun-loving, which I think is a pretty awesome way to go through life. I'm the kind of dog who's always up for an adventure but also knows how to be a calm, loving companion. I have been microchipped and neutered and have had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. My adoption fee is $325. For more information or if you would like to meet me, please fill out an adoption survey at carenorthshore.org/dog-adoption-survey Love and Licks Everest So, who's ready to add a little Everest excitement to their life? I promise lots of love, laughs, and maybe a few epic games of chase!

Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
