Meet Phoebe

Meet Phoebe!! Phoebe is a 10 month old female Border Collie, she is being fostered in Plymouth, Indiana.  Phoebe has settled in nicely, she has been excellent in Daycare and loves playing with all her new friends each day. She has been friendly with the staff. She is curious about the kitties, especially when in her kennel. But out of her kennel she doesn't pay too much attention to them. She is excellent in her crate. Walks well on leash. Rides well in the car.   The only issue I've had with her is that she will resource guard pretty much anything from people and dogs. It seems to diminish once she becomes familiar with someone and when she figures out I'm not actually coming to take the things she has. I try to manage her environment as best as I can to not allow her to resource guard things but if she does...then a "trade ya!" skill is rehearsed. Adoption Process
Adoption process includes completing an application, having personal references checked, vet checks and home visit by one of our volunteers. Your application and backup information is then presented to the Board/Committee for review. Once your application has been approved, you may then schedule a meeting with the dog(s) in which you are interested. The foster home has the final approval on the adoption of his or her dog.
