Meet Hondo

They say the eyes are the window to the soul and in Hondo's case what a sweet soul that is!  At just under two years old, Hondo would make a great addition to almost any family.  A medium energy pup, Hondo loves to play with his two doggy housemates.   Best described as having more of a submissive personality, Hondo often finds himself being bossed around by his Chihuahua "big" brother.     Inside the home, his foster parents say that he is a great houseguest.  Completely housebroken, he is busy learning his basic obedience and thriving as he adjusts to life off the streets.  In addition to other dogs, Hondo loves people and will happily lean in to strangers for a pet.  He can still get the occasional zoomies, however, so kids over the age of 12 that can handle the occasional spike in his puppy energy would be best.     Overall, Hondo's perfect family would be one that is moderately active - a family that lives with a nice balance of play and relaxation.  A family that would continue to enforce the basic training he is learning and one that would continue to expose him to everything that he loves most - people and pups!   If you think this loveable nugget may be just what you are looking for, please contact us today for your private meet and greet.              If you're interested in Hondo, here is the link to our Adoption Application: https://www.dogsaredeservingrescue.com/adoptable-dogs/adoption-application/

We have adoption screening forms, overnights, home visits. Fees are a flat adoption fee varying by age of dog.
