Meet TESSA

Hi there. My name is Tessa and I am a 7 month old 23 pound beagle. I was found at an abandoned house in Virginia and 2 nice pilots volunteered to fly me to Michigan and now I'm looking for my forever home! They say I am a lemon colored Beagle and that I am very pretty, but I'm very shy and it will take a patient and understanding person that will give me time. I will need another dog in the home to help with my confidence and for comfort. A fenced in yard is also required! A quiet home would be the best for me! I love to run and play, and explore outside and I really like playing with my toys and other dogs. I get along with other dogs, don't know about cats but I think I would be okay with them. I would be good with children but due to my shyness it's best if the children are older as the young ones move around quickly and that would scare me!I am doing good on my potty training. I'm crate trained and I stay dry in it all night. I'm micro-chipped, spayed, and up to date on my vaccines for my age.
