Meet CLOVER

Hi there! I’m Clover, a 5-year-old, 60lb yellow Lab mix with a big heart and a calm spirit. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Alabama, and now I’m living the good life with my foster mom in Battle Creek, MI. But what I’m really dreaming of is finding my forever family.If you’re looking for a sweet dog who’s content just being near you, I’m your girl! I’m a pretty low-key gal who loves the simple things—like getting petted on my head and exploring the yard with my tail wagging happily behind me. I’ve got this cute habit of lying down while I eat, and I’m all about those comfy, soft pillows where I can take my naps and feel safe.Now, I’ll be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of my crate. But if you guide me gently or offer me a treat, I’ll go in like a champ. Even though I might grumble a bit, I’m fully crate-trained and housebroken, so you won’t have to worry about any messes.I get along just fine with other dogs, but I’m not much into playing or running around. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I’d probably just ignore them. As for kids, I haven’t been around them either, but I think I’d do well with respectful older children. One of my favorite things is riding in the car—I’m a great passenger! And while I love having a backyard to roam around in, I don’t really need a fenced yard, as long as you take me for lots of walks!I am fully-vetted, microchipped and my adoption fee is $300.
