It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Salvey, the 3-year-old poodle mix who’s got it all! This little dynamo loves his toys, plays like a champ with dogs of all sizes, and even shares his space peacefully with cats. He’s potty trained, crate trained (just say the word, and he kennels up like a pro!), and struts like a superstar on a leash. Need a road trip buddy? Salvey rides like a dream! And when it’s time to chill, he’s right there watching TV with you. This fun-loving, well-mannered pup is ready to bring joy to his forever home. Apply now at ITVrescue.org! All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
