C.A.R.E. is a non-profit, all volunteer and foster-based animal rescue located in Columbus, Indiana working to promote animal welfare through community awareness, education and responsible pet adoptions. We promote spaying and neutering as the way to relieve the number of animals entering our local shelters.. We work with local shelters to help with overpopulation and to increase the number of adoptions.

Scruffy is a sweet old girl that is looking for her forever home. Her guardian passed away suddenly and she is very confused about being fostered. She needs consistent love to show her that she will be okay, even if she is missing her owner that passed. She is house trained, does well with other dogs, and loves to snuggle. She still has a lot of love to give and can't wait to become a part of your life.
