It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Lisa Marie

Meet, Lisa Marie. Lisa is currently at the Spencer County location where she was surrendered with her siblings. She is a shepherd mix and is full of excitement. She may be the runt of the litter, however, she does not let that slow her down! She can definitely hold her own with her bigger siblings. She has done well with leas training and is a quick learner.  If you can offer a temporary foster home, please complete a foster application at ITVrescue.org.All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.

Adoption Process
Adoption application and contract, adoption fee from $200 to $300
