It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Lady B! Lady B is a 1.5-year-old Rat Terrier who is as sweet as she is adorable! Weighing just under 20 lbs, she’s the perfect size for snuggles and adventures alike.This little lady loves her stuffies and will happily carry them around like prized possessions. She’s great with kids, did well during her cat testing, and is said to get along well with other dogs. Lady B would thrive in a loving home where she can get plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles.If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion to join your family, Lady B might just be the perfect match! Submit an application at ITVrescue.orgAll of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.
