Meet Oscar

Meet Oscar, the Sweetest Snugglebug! Oscar is estimated to be around 10 years old, and he’s as sweet as they come. He’s truly happiest when he’s being held or sitting in your lap, and he loves being right next to his people at all times. Oscar is more like a baby than a dog—he’ll whine to let you know he wants attention or a cuddle. Oscar gets a little anxious if he is left alone. However, having a doggy friend in his foster home has been a big help for him! He uses his doggy companion to help navigate his surroundings and for emotional support when his people are away. Oscar would do best in a home that his people are home majority of the time and/or have animals that Oscar can bond with! Oscar is blind and mostly deaf. He’s fairly easy to walk on a leash, though he does have a habit of stopping now and then when he feels unsure (likely due to being blind) If you give him a few seconds to gather his confidence, he’ll start walking again like a champ. Since getting fixed, it is safe to say that Oscar is now fully potty trained! He’s good with other dogs and enjoys their company, especially when his people aren’t home. While he’s happiest snuggled up with his humans, he seems to appreciate having a dog buddy. In his downtime, Oscar enjoys playing with toys, chewing on his blanket, or simply snoozing. When it’s bedtime, he would love nothing more than to cuddle up with you in bed. He can be a little vocal—he doesn’t bark, but he will whine when he wants to be held or given attention, which is all the time! Oscar is a gentle, loving soul who’s looking for someone to give him all the love (and treats!) he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will adore you and keep your lap warm, Oscar is ready to be your new best friend.

1.Adoption Application 2.Review of personal and vet references 3.Home Visit 4.Match with adoptable dog if approved 5. binding adoption contact signed 6. 2 week trial period to make sure it is a match before the adoption is finalized. All dogs are spayed and neutered as well as up to date on shots before adoption. We resolve all medical issues (outside of chronic e.g diabetes, seizures...) before adoption 11 months and under - $325 Under 6 years old - $275 6 years and older - $225
