Community Animal Rescue Effort (CARE)

C.A.R.E. is a non-profit, all volunteer and foster-based animal rescue located in Columbus, Indiana working to promote animal welfare through community awareness, education and responsible pet adoptions. We promote spaying and neutering as the way to relieve the number of animals entering our local shelters.. We work with local shelters to help with overpopulation and to increase the number of adoptions.

Meet Rex

CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on all age appropriate vaccinations & preventatives, as well as microchipped & altered. CARE is all-volunteer & foster-based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter or facility & do not have employees monitoring inbound applications & emails. Applications are reviewed by each animal's volunteer foster home. Thank you for your patience!
