Community Animal Rescue Effort (CARE)

C.A.R.E. is a non-profit, all volunteer and foster-based animal rescue located in Columbus, Indiana working to promote animal welfare through community awareness, education and responsible pet adoptions. We promote spaying and neutering as the way to relieve the number of animals entering our local shelters.. We work with local shelters to help with overpopulation and to increase the number of adoptions.

Meet Balboa

Balboa is a sweet and submissive adult dog.  He has a gorgeous white coat with some underlying black speckles and spots. He is quite the handsome guy.  Balboa is shy and submissive when he meets other dogs. He is dog friendly with everyone he meets and does a good job matching the energy level of other dogs.  Balboa is currently located in TN but we have regular transports up to Columbus, IN. All adoptions will take place at Speck's Pet Supplies in Columbus, IN.
