It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Pocky

Meet Pocky! This adorable 4-month-old female husky mix is full of spunk and sweetness. She does great with other dogs and absolutely loves cats—though she’s still learning to be a little gentler with them. She is good with older kids and needs a home without any spunky younger children while she learns how to be gentle. Pocky is a road trip pro! She enjoys looking out the window before curling up for a nap during car rides. True to her husky nature, Pocky loves to wrestle and play with big dogs. After all the fun, she’s happy to cuddle up for a well-earned nap. This little fluffball is ready to find her forever home!Apply at ITVrescue.org to make Pocky part of your family! All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
