Meet Bodi

Bodi came from a bad situation. He was emaciated, full of worms and fleas, filthy/ stinky and his hair was so thin and coarse you could see his skin right through it. He is now growing like a weed to make up for lost time, though! He is happy and healthy, but still occasionally shies away due to the trauma he endured. He is working on his housetraining, but definitely will need some work. He will go as soon as you take him outside, but will not ask and still needs to go out frequently to keep him from going on the floor. He is very playful and loves other dogs. He is active and will need some training to redirect his nipping, as he is still just a baby and learning what is and is not allowed! He has been around several cats and likes them, but will chase if they run. He would be best with a confident cat that stands up for itself. He has been around kids and is good with them but is still in the nipping phase, so very young children are not recommended at this time. Bodi will be adopted on a foster to adopt contract until he is neutered. Adoption fee of $200 will be due up front before he leaves. He will be microchipped and vaccinated, and a neuter will have to be scheduled once he grows a little more.If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application.
