C.A.R.E. is a non-profit, all volunteer and foster-based animal rescue located in Columbus, Indiana working to promote animal welfare through community awareness, education and responsible pet adoptions. We promote spaying and neutering as the way to relieve the number of animals entering our local shelters.. We work with local shelters to help with overpopulation and to increase the number of adoptions.

Meet Ham

Ham is 8 weeks old, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, preventatives and microchipped.   CARE's adoption fee is $250 for dogs/puppies and an additional $150 spay/ neuter deposit where applicable. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, as well as microchipped. All payments are by credit card.   Adopters schedule their own surgeries directly with any vet of their choosing with a surgery cost reimbursement of up to $75 (plus refund of the $150 deposit) when proof of surgery is received by CARE. Surgery is required to be done within 6 months of adoption (unless they have a vet recommending otherwise). All adoptions take place at Specks Pet Supplies 3860 W Carlos Folger Dr, Columbus, IN 47201
