Meet Ditty

Big gorgeous puppy DITTY is ready for her furever home! She survived the deadly Parvo virus and has completed her viral shedding period. This lovely girl, sister to Duffy is sweet, gentle and loving. She's a mixed breed pup, our best guess is Anatolian shepherd/black mouth cur, maybe a touch of Labrador retriever and who knows what else. Ditty and her brother Duffy are true designer originals. She could easily grow up to be 80 lbs. or more - look at her big paws! Ditty is 15 weeks and already 35 lbs. She's so gentle and easygoing we expect she will end up being a big teddy bear of a dog. She is a bit on the timid side but warms up quickly. She has a soft medium length coat. If you'd like to meet Ditty, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adoptere.   All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care.

Adoption Process
We offer Foster To Adopt for dogs adoptions. You must complete the application, be approved and pay a $100 deposit ($150 puppies). You can then take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then you can finalize the adoption. If no, then you return the dog to us and you are welcome to try a different dog. complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit for adult dogs and $150 for puppies (cash, check or credit card). This fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption. The adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
