It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Natalia is currently at the Spencer County location in Chrisney. Meet Natalia! Natalia is a beautiful black and white Pit mix who came into our care with her sister, Malissa. She’s a young, sweet girl who’s feeling a little nervous in the shelter, but it doesn’t take long for her to warm up to kind humans. Once she does, she’s all about lap time—she loves nothing more than crawling up into your lap for snuggles and comfort.With a little patience and lots of love, Natalia will blossom into the affectionate, loyal companion she’s meant to be. She’s looking for a foster home where she can feel safe, build her confidence, and, of course, soak up all the cuddles!Could Natalia be the loving companion you’ve been looking for? If you're interested in Natalia, submit an application at ITVrescue.org.All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.
