"October 3, 2023 started like any other day. I was a happy boy, living with my family who I loved VERY much, and they loved me. ❤️ I lived with adult humans, young humans, dog and cat siblings…life was good. ❤️ My owner had to make the very difficult decision to bring me and my dog sister to the shelter. He was devastated, and so were we, but he wanted us to be safe. My canine sister was the lucky one…being rescued within a couple of weeks after arriving at the shelter, but here I am …still waiting. I am losing hope…will I ever be loved again as much as my owner loved me?! I am a 4 year old blue heeler mix, and some of my favorite volunteers tell me I am A LOT OF FUN!!! They say I would make a great agility or frisbee dog. Not sure I know what that means, but I’m game! I’ve sat here in this kennel for 11 weeks now, holding onto the hope that I will find love again. I am neutered and ready to break outa this joint! "
