Community Animal Rescue Effort (CARE)

C.A.R.E. is a non-profit, all volunteer and foster-based animal rescue located in Columbus, Indiana working to promote animal welfare through community awareness, education and responsible pet adoptions. We promote spaying and neutering as the way to relieve the number of animals entering our local shelters.. We work with local shelters to help with overpopulation and to increase the number of adoptions.

Meet Morty

Meet Morty! This happy guy love absolutely everything he meets. He's been through a little bit of a rough start in his young life but you wouldn't tell with how happy he is to see everyone! He loves other dogs and not phased by the cats. He's great in his crate and mostly only makes noise when he has to go outside. He gets Neutered on 12/5. He can be adopted anytime after that. He will need some continued TLC, gaining weight and growing his coat back from his previous home, but he's already on that road to healing.
