It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Liadan is currently at the Spencer County location in Chrisney. Meet Liadan! Liadan is an adorable Husky mix with a striking gray/brindle coat and a personality that’s just as beautiful. At almost 9 months old, he’s full of puppy energy, curiosity, and affection.This social butterfly hasn’t met a stranger—he loves everyone he meets and is always ready to make new friends. Whether he’s playing, exploring, or soaking up attention, Liadan brings joy and sparkle to every moment.If you’re looking for a fun, friendly companion with loads of charm and puppy spirit, Liadan is ready to light up your life!
