Meet Franklin

* My name is Franklin and I am a 4 year old miniature poodle who weighs in at a healthy 15 pounds.* My adoption fee is $350.*My hobbies are: Melting hearts with my brown eyes, napping, playing your shadow and long ear scratches.*I am a quirky fella who doesn't particularly care for walking on a leash when it isn't necessary, so if you want to be my best friend you must have a fenced yard to help me exercise.*I am shy and need lots of socialization. My new home will need a companion dog for me to bond with and continue to learn from and I will need a family that will be patient and give me a chance to relax and build my confidence.*Things you will love about me: I am housetrained, crate trained, laid back, love to be carried around, cozy up in bed at night, and nap next to you or in your arms.*I have a heart of gold and love affection, but I will need some time to warm up in new surroundings.*Give me a chance, allow me to take things at my pace and I will be the best and most loyal little guy for you.* Franklin is neutered, micro chipped and up to date on vaccinations.  He has been started on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.   * The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record.
