Meet Zandia

Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it. Zandia is still a little shy but getting better each day. She likes to know where her foster mom is and does great with all the other pups. She is very curious about everything and she is starting to show interest in what those toys are all about. Zandia does need a fenced yard to keep her safe.  Zandia is about 9 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. Her adoption fee is $250 plus tax of $11.25 for a total of $261.25.  My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as presurgical bloodwork, HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, spay, dental and microchipping.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
