Fill out the online form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it. ⭐️ FUR-STER SPOTLIGHT ⭐️ Miss Megan Regan   ⏰️ Age: 4 years old, 7 months old (best guess) I'm a cream dachshund (mix) ⚖️ Weight: 13 pounds 4 ounces ⏳️ I've been in rescue for 2 months. ⚠️ I need a fenced in yard because I'm a breeder release. The fence needs to be 4 ft or higher aannnd you need to be watchful! I'm a climber Little hoomans?? Are you asking if I would love a 2-legged playmate?? YES PLLLEASE!! I adore those little creatures - I mean children ‍♂️‍ Men? Women? How about I make this easy... if it can pet me, play with me, and love on me- I'M TOTALLY GAME!!! ⚽️ So none of those are my favorite BALL, but if it's a squeaky one- how many time times can you roll it? Throw it? Can I play with it all day?! So, about that... I need something to chew on (No rawhide) Another smaller pup to romp around with- sure! But if you don't have a 4-legged friend, that's okay too! However, then you'd better be ready to entertain me! ‍♀️ I don't know what a feline is...... Kennel trained- yes If I'm kept on a schedule, I do pretty good, but you still have to keep a watchful eye to get me outside when I show you my signs that I need to go. I'm not free roam during the day. ID Hills Science Diet or Royal Canine 2x a day I need more practice on a leash, but if you like walks, I'll practice my leash skills while you walk. I'm extremely outgoing and sweet ✔️ I'm spayed and ready for my furever home-- sweet home with yooooou! Do you need someone to teach you how to play ball?? Pick me- I'm your girl! I'm Megan Regan.  I am a 4 yr old breeder release girl just starting my journey as a house pet. House training, collars and leashes, weird noises outside, this is a whole new world for me. I love being loved! Toys, fresh blankets in my kennel, good food. I have found heaven ❤️ My foster mom is working with me on a harness and leash but I don't like that think attached to me so a fenced yard is an absolute must for me! In fact I need a 6' fence I can't climb over. I get spooked by loud noises like thunderstorms, trucks going by, sirens.....I've never been exposed to them before Do you have the love, time and patience as well as a fenced yard to keep me safe? I am 4 yrs old I weigh 12.4 pounds,, my adoption fee is $400 plus sales tax $18= $418 My adoption fee helps cover the cost of my vetting care.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
