Meet Mona

We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Hi! I'm Mona. I am just starting my journey to become a house pet, learning all about House training, wearing a harness (scarry for me) and being attached to a leash. I do require a fenced yard to keep me safe. I would love a family of my own to help me continue my journey to live life in a home setting. Could you love a sweet girl like me? I am 7 years old,  I weigh 66 pounds, my adoption fee is $400 plus sales tax $18=$418  My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, spay, dental if needed and microchipping.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
