We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Hi! I'm Jordi. I came to DDR with my brothers and sister. I am very timid in new situations and bark at new people. I am very timid with children. We are wild and crazy puppies that love to run chase, play and wrestle out in our foster mom's fenced yard. We do not come when called, we run and run and run and play chase. I love being outside with my foster mom. I wrestle with the other dogs any chance I get. I am 5 1/2 months  old, My adoption fee is $500 plus sales tax $22.50 = $522.50   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as all puppy vaccinations including rabies, 3 DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter and microchipping.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
