Meet Maya

Hello - my name is Maya. I don't like to brag but my foster mom says I am such a beautiful girl!  She also says I have a very sweet personality. I really love to be close to my person and snuggles are great with me. I do need to have a fenced yard to keep me safe. Would you like to meet me?  Just fill out the adoption application.  my name is Maya. I weigh about 12 pounds and my adoption fee is $250 plus $11.25 tax for a total of $261.25. 

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
