*** The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Calling chihuahua lovers! Meet Pedro! This little man came from a chihuahua hoarding situation along with his foster friend Cat (the Dog). Pedro is doin his best learning about other people and life with out so much chaos. He is, in true chihuahua fashion, a bit over zealous when meeting new people. He wants them to know he is actually 90 pounds of pure muscles instead of about 10. We got your little guy no worries and thanks for letting us know there is a visitor at the door. Pedro is pretty calm with the members of the household and gets along fine with the other dogs. He may even do best with a doggie friend. He is curious about the foster kitties but that's about it. His favorite things to do are run around outside in the fenced yard and then snuggle under blankets. If he gets overstimulated while playing he will nip a little when he's excited so older kids that will understand when to stop a play session would be best. But hey, if you are a lover of the Chihuahua none of this is new to you! Pedro is approximately 7 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. His adoption fee if $250.00
