Kallik is scheduled for her spay on March 12 and will not be available for adoption outside of a 30-minute radius of Des Moines until after her spay. Kallik came to Iowa from an Oklahoma shelter with her momma Zarah and 8 siblings when she was approximately 5 weeks old. She was assigned a birthdate of 11/23/24 since we don't have an exact date of birth. Kallik is a possible Border Collie/Husky mix and weighs just under 14 lbs. at 11 weeks old. Beauty & brains! She has an all-white coat, with one black eye & one blue eye. She has a shining, outgoing personality! In her foster home she has been exposed to children, cats, dogs, chickens and other farm animals and hasn’t met a stranger yet! She is very Intelligent and has taken to potty training very easily. She is kenneled at night & when unsupervised with no problems. She will make a great addition to any family with other animals! Kallik needs an active family that can provide lots of play time and activities that stimulate her mentally. She will not be adopted to a family living in an apartment, condo, or townhouse due to her being vocal at times and needing a yard to play in. We are looking for a family that has experience owning active, vocal dogs and one that can keep up with a very active dog. Another active, social dog living in the home is also a plus. Siblings: Pepe Le Pew (M) Penelope (F) Flower (F) Honey Badger (F) David Bowie (M) Akela (M) Mochi (F) Kallik (F) Yeti (M) If you are interested in meeting Kallik, please complete an online application at https://hopeanimalrescueofiowa.duplie.com/forms/196/dog-application Adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.
