Meet Moonpie

Moonpie unfortunately was very under socialized.. she was a puppy mill momma and had multiple litters before coming into rescue. She will need lots of patience in a new home so she has time to open up and love on her own time, once she knows you she is a lover and a cuddle bug! She will not feel comfortable in a home with children or a chaotic home with a lot of visitors. Moonpie's foster has worked with her so much and she is now much better on a leash, but we are still requiring that she be adopted to a home with a securely fenced in yard for her safety as she gets comfortable with leashes and collars and all the things that normal dogs are ok with!

Adoption Process
Pets are altered, vaccinated and microchipped before adoption. Adopters must complete an application and contract and pay fee (which varies based on age and type of animal). They also must provide references and pass a home visit.
