Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Hello! I'm Cassie. I am a recent breeder release girl just starting my journey to become a house pet. No more having puppies for me. I want to learn to become your best friend, learning that a home is a really awesome place to live, housetraining, snuggling on the couch, playing with other dogs. Amazing all the new things a girl like me gets to experience :) I am timid and not used to having freedom so I do require a fenced yard to keep me safe. I am doing well wearing a harness but I don't walk on a leash. I do a good job keeping my kennel clean. Do you have the love and patience to continue my journey with me to become your best friend? I am 5 1/2 yrs old, I weigh 10-11 pounds, my adoption fee is $325 plus sales tax $14.63=$339.63   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, spay, dental  and microchipping.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
