Meet Ham

Ham is looking for her forever home! This sweet girl was saved from euthanasia when one of our fosters stepped up to give her a place to land. She grew up in a shelter environment with her brother (who we also saved and he's been adopted). It's been a bit hard for her to adjust to living the life of a loved indoor pup but she's doing great! She quickly bonded with her human foster mom and her canine and feline foster siblings but has been fearful in new environments with new people, not reactive or anything, just very timid. She has been going to doggy daycare to build her confidence outside of the home and with other people. She loves it and has made a lot of friends there, both human and canine! We think she'd do well in most homes that will give her time to adjust but her ideal home is likely one with another young, playful dog who is confident. She does great with cats too! We're pretty sure she is part heeler as she has some of the characteristic physical and personality traits of one. She is about 10 months old and weighs around 35 lbs. Adoption Process
Pets are altered, vaccinated and microchipped before adoption. Adopters must complete an application and contract and pay fee (which varies based on age and type of animal). They also must provide references and pass a home visit.
