Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Hi! I'm Lexie I am a very sweet pomapoo just starting my journey to learn to live life as a house pet. Learning all about potty outside, I love going outside with my foster dad. This wearing a harness is all new and so is this thing she calls a leash. I am very sweet but skittish. I do require a fenced yard.I do love attention once you pick me up however I will not come to you, you have to have me in a space you can pick me up.  I was groomed and I'm so pretty and smell soooo good now ;)Do you have the time, patience and love to help me continue on my journey to live life as a house pet and your best furry friend?I am 1 years old, I weigh  13 pounds, my adoption fee is $400 plus sales tax $18 =$418   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, spay, dental if needed and microchipping.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
