Meet Chichi! She is a very laid back and friendly dog who loves everyone she meets. She spends most of her day laying on the window bench and watching what's going on. She will especially be sure to let you know when other dogs are walking by! Chichi loves going for walks and would like a home that will give her lots more of them as she still needs to lose a little weight. She enjoys being picked up and put on the couch to cuddle and receive belly rubs, as her little legs don't want to jump that high. She does not mind the other little dogs she lives with because in her eyes human attention is WAY better. Chichi will need a securely fenced in back yard where she can run around and explore! Every time she goes out, she just wants to run and run and find all the new smells out there. She is really just a perfect laid back little girl. Chichi's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and prevention, plus a free basic obedience training class at Cedar Run #2 in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of keeping their pets altered and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Our adoption process includes background and reference checks, a vet history check, and a home visit. If you would like to meet Chichi, please fill out an adoption application for consideration on our website, adopthope.org.
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
