Duncan is a dreamboat of a guy! He’s a fawn Doberman, estimated to be around 4 years old. Duncan is so easy to love and eager to please! You can’t help but feel a tug of love when you look into his soft and sad eyes! Duncan has done great meeting new people and he also seems to be very dog friendly! In true Doberman style, Duncan is large and graceful so may be best paired with medium or larger sized dogs. Duncan is very strong on a leash, so we are working on basic training cues and we have included a free basic training course courtesy of Cedar Run Company with his adoption. In no time at all, Duncan will settle into your home and your heart and be your gentle giant companion! Duncan’s adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccines and preventatives, plus a free basic training course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Duncan is seeking an indoor only home, if you are interested in meeting him please submit an adoption application through our website, Adopthope.org. Our adoption process includes a vet, history check and a home visit.
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
