Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it. This sweetheart is Bernstein as in sweet little bear. He hasn't been with DDR for too long so just getting to know him. He is very affectionate and loves his person. He does great with the other pups He does seem to be a bit of a door dasher so would need a fenced yard. He wants to go wherever his foster mom does. Bernstein is about 6 years old and weighs about 8 pounds. His adoption fee is $325 plus tax of $14.63 for a total of $339.63. My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter,dental and microchipping.
Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
