Meet Beans Who

Beans is scheduled for his neuter on Thursday, March 20 and has not yet completed his puppy vaccinations. Due to this he is only available for adoption within 30 minutes of Des Moines, Iowa. This restriction will be lifted after he has been fully vetted. Beans Who is an approximate 11-week-old, 12 lb., male, possible Cattle Dog/Heeler mix. He came from a shelter in Oklahoma with his momma, sister, and brother. He was born at a truck stop in Oklahoma after his momma was dumped there and became pregnant. Momma has the look of an Australian Kelpie. She is small and only around 25 lbs. Beans and his siblings will likely be around 40 lbs. full grown. We have no idea who Daddy is, so his breed mix is unknown. Beans came into rescue about 5 weeks old and pretty cautious of people. He was the first of the litter to interact with his foster momma and has continued to open up the past couple of weeks. He needs continued socialization and a loving forever home that can show him the world and help him gain experience so he can be the carefree puppy he deserves to be. He has been getting outside to explore and work on his bravery, and he loves it! He is a clean slate with being a house dog and will need all the training going forward. His foster mom is working on helping him feel safe outside and gaining experience to help his confidence. He is a sweet, rambunctious little boy that has so much potential. He will need to work on house training, leash training, and kennel training with his new family. Adoption Process
We require an application be completed, do home visits and check references. Have meet and greets with children and other pets. We require animals be returned to us if circumstances change. We require a signed adoption contract. We do not allow our animals to be kept outdoors. $100 Senior Dog (9+ years old) $200 Adult Dog $225 Puppy $30 Senior Cat (10+ years old) $60 Adult Cat $100 Kitten (or 2 for $150) Purebred/Designer dog adoption fees will be determined on case by case basis dependent on finders fees, vetting costs and transporting fees. Each purebreds breed will determine baseline fee.
