Meet Wilbur

Wilbur is a 13-week-old, 22 lb., male Boxer/Bassett hound mix. Even though he is vertically challenged (Bassett hound legs) he is expected to be a fairly stocky and heavy dog when full grown. He is a typical playful puppy, who loves to rough house with his brother Wyatt, and his foster fur siblings. He is submissive around dogs who are larger or more dominant than him. He enjoys squeaky toys and comfy beds. Despite not being very athletic or coordinated, he tries his hardest to be a couch baby, and enjoys napping on it when he gets up. While he's not been tested with cats or kids, he would likely do well with proper introduction. He loves using his hound nose when playing outside in the grass. Wilbur is working on potty training, but will need continued, consistent training in this area. He does great in his kennel when his foster family is gone, and at night. Wilbur is a sweet boy looking for a family to love. Adoption Process
We require an application be completed, do home visits and check references. Have meet and greets with children and other pets. We require animals be returned to us if circumstances change. We require a signed adoption contract. We do not allow our animals to be kept outdoors. $100 Senior Dog (9+ years old) $200 Adult Dog $225 Puppy $30 Senior Cat (10+ years old) $60 Adult Cat $100 Kitten (or 2 for $150) Purebred/Designer dog adoption fees will be determined on case by case basis dependent on finders fees, vetting costs and transporting fees. Each purebreds breed will determine baseline fee.
