Meet Tamari

Introducing Tamari, a blue nose Pittie, who is 5.5 months old, 33 lbs., with the sweetest personality. She was an owner surrender for her safety regarding the other pets in the home. She is apprehensive and cautious at first introduction but with a short amount of time her tail wags and she seeks you out for attention so she needs someone who will be patient and allow her space to show you her personality. She lays down and sleeps when on car rides and is 90% potty trained. She does well when crated during the evening but wants to be near you at all times. She needs someone who will be consistent with her training to continue learning basic commands (sit, down).  She is doing very well with the resident dog in her foster home and plays appropriately with two neighbor dogs who visit her each morning and evening.   If you are interested in Tamari, please complete an online application at https://hopeanimalrescueofiowa.duplie.com/forms/196/dog-application Adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and age appropriate vaccinations.

Adoption Process
We require an application be completed, do home visits and check references. Have meet and greets with children and other pets. We require animals be returned to us if circumstances change. We require a signed adoption contract. We do not allow our animals to be kept outdoors. $100 Senior Dog (9+ years old) $200 Adult Dog $225 Puppy $30 Senior Cat (10+ years old) $60 Adult Cat $100 Kitten (or 2 for $150) Purebred/Designer dog adoption fees will be determined on case by case basis dependent on finders fees, vetting costs and transporting fees. Each purebreds breed will determine baseline fee.
