Meet Josie

“Hi folks! It’s me Josie! I am seeking my furever home! I LOVE being around my humans, and having a plethora of toys to play with but I especially LOVE squeaky ones and balls! If you forget to pet me I will nudge you to remind you to do so. I have been learning to share my toys and humans and it is going well. I do well eating next to my friends and lining up for delicious surprises. I like car rides, going on walks, running in the fenced in yard and going on other adventures with my humans and canine friends. My foster mom calls it free roam… I free roam with my furry friends and have had no accidents in the house. I am approximately 5 years young, weigh about 45 pounds, and maybe a Lab/cattle dog mix. Before Hope I found myself living mainly outside  and then was surrendered along with several of my friends here in Iowa due to no fault of my own. I LOVE being an indoor pup! I am in a foster home with other dogs and a cat. Sometimes we even have other furry dog friends come play! Adoption Process
We require an application be completed, do home visits and check references. Have meet and greets with children and other pets. We require animals be returned to us if circumstances change. We require a signed adoption contract. We do not allow our animals to be kept outdoors. $100 Senior Dog (9+ years old) $200 Adult Dog $225 Puppy $30 Senior Cat (10+ years old) $60 Adult Cat $100 Kitten (or 2 for $150) Purebred/Designer dog adoption fees will be determined on case by case basis dependent on finders fees, vetting costs and transporting fees. Each purebreds breed will determine baseline fee.
