Meet REX

Rex currently has a condition called `Cherry Eye` which is common with his combination of breeds. This is a condition in dogs that occurs when the gland in the third eyelid swells and protrudes from the eye. This can be corrected surgically, although there is a chance of reoccurance as he ages.Because of this, we will be looking to place Rex with a family with some prior pet owning history, with a good reference from their veterinarian.Rex is a typical sweet and playful puppy. As you probably know, puppies have lots of energy! They love to explore and sometimes get into things they aren't supposed to, so they need you to help show us the ropes. Please keep in mind that puppies are a lot of work and will be more expensive from the start than adult dogs. Puppies are a LONG commitment (the average life span is 15 years for a dog depending on the breed) so be sure you're thinking ahead when you adopt. But he's super cute, super fun, and full of love for whoever adopts him!
