My name is Holly.I am a very sweet dachshie girl.I am somewhat alpha and so was the other female dachshie in our house so we sometimes got into scraps.To keep me and my sister safe my parents said I'd do better in DDR.I am learning to play with the other foster dogs however I would prefer to be an only dog. I get jealous when other dogs get on the couch by my foster mom and I will snap at them. I love being outside in the fenced yard when my foster parents are.I am well house trained and not much of a barker. I do need a fenced yard to keep me happy and safe.Can you be my new forever home?I am 12 years old, I weigh 16.6 pounds, my adoption fee is $250 plus sales tax $11.25= $261.25

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
