We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Hi, I'm Mason. I am a sweet boy just starting my journey to become a house pet. I am learning to wear a harness and introduced to a leash, not my favorite yet but I am coming along slowly. I do require a fenced yard. am learning about housetraining, bellybands are new to me but it reminds me I have to wait to go potty outside. My foster mom takes me out on a schedule to teach me.Can you help me continue on my journey and become a special part of your family?I am 3 1/2 yrs old, I weigh 17 pounds, my adoption fee is $400 plus sales tax $18=$418   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, dental  and microchipping.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
