Meet Petunia

Petunia is a French Bulldog, born 06/04/2018.She was released by a breeder and is now in a foster home where she will begin to learn about being a pet.  Petunia is slowly coming out of her shell and adjusting to life outside her breeding facility. She is snuggly and although shy around other dogs at first she loves to play once she warms up. We think she would do best in a home with another dog to help her build her confidence and teach her the ropes of being a dog. Despite her past, she loves people but will need someone who is patient and understanding to help her continue to learn that the world isn't so scary. She loves toys and sleeps through the night in her kennel. She guards her kennel but it is believed that this will improve once she adjusts to her surroundings. When she is fed in her kennel she resource guards a little bit but when she is out and about it isn't a problem. Since she isn't used to being in the open loud noises and big, sudden movements spook her. She is an incredibly loving girl with lots of potential!The suggested adoption fee for Petunia is $385.  Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home.

Adoption Process
We have an adoption Application that we screen and check our local do not adopt list. We then do a vet check and two personal reference checks followed by a home visit and a meet and greet with the resident pets and children
