Nyx is young pocket pitty mix. She is estimated to be around 3 years old. She came to Last Hope from the overcrowded local shelter, she had been dumped by her owner after having had a litter of puppies. Nyx would benefit from having a dog sibling to play with and to help continue to grow her confidence. She lives with a dog in her foster home that is near her size and does great with the companionship. Nyx also lives with 2 young children and does well with them. She loves to give hugs and kisses, she also loves to get her belly rubbed. She is kenneled and potty trained. Nyx has not been cat tested yet. Nyx has done well on a leash and in the car and she would love to go on adventures with you! The adoption fee for Nyx is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccines and preventatives. Nyx is seeking an indoor only home, if you would like to meet her please submit an application on our website Adopthope.org. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept any other animals altered, current on annual vaccines and as indoor pets only. Our adoption process includes a home visit and a vet history check
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
