150Picasso came to us as a stray, but now that she is in foster, we know she had a home at some point. She is kennel trained, house trained (with the help of a dog door), knows sit and down, is accepting of other dogs with appropriate meeting, doesn't mind cats. With her sweet temperament, we're mostly sure she'd do well with older kids as well. She has a very unique look to her, to match her personality. She is even enrolled in an obedience class to get her home-ready. She is just a wonderful girl who deserves her forever home!
Adoption Process
Both prospective foster and adoption homes fill out an application requiring information about their home, pet ownership practices, and past animal experience. We require personal references for all adopters, plus vet references if they already work with a vet and landlord contact information if they do not own their home. Adoption fees for cats are $100; for dogs they start at $150, but may increase for animals with significant vetting or care needs.
